ECM (in french) translated for “Together, Let's Change Madagascar” was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to
empower Malagasy students in Russia to become not just job seekers, but problem solvers and job creators for their home
country. Founded by Saory Andre Kim Jocelyn, this idea found firm footing with the support of Manoa Ratsimbazafy.
Together, they shared their vision with the Malagasy diaspora, student associations, and the Embassy of Madagascar in
Russia. This collaborative spirit fueled the movement's first event: a project competition designed to identify and
celebrate impactful ideas that can drive positive change in Madagascar.
Now, ECM's mission extends beyond students in Russia. We aim to ignite a spark within the global Malagasy diaspora, uniting
them to contribute to a brighter future for Madagascar.
Madagascar is a prosperous country where economic opportunities are abundant, businesses thrive, innovation is thriving, and living standards rise for all Malagasy people, creating jobs, empowering entrepreneurs, and enabling everyone to reach their full potential.
Madagascar is envisioned as a nation where unity replaces division, where people from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities unite for a common purpose. This unity is not just a fleeting sentiment, but a deep-rooted sense of shared identity and collective responsibility.
Our vision for Madagascar goes beyond economic prosperity and social harmony. We aim for a sustainable development that protects biodiversity, responsibly uses natural resources, and ensures a healthy planet for future generations, ensuring a long-lasting, prosperous Madagascar.
